Tropic Air has been pleased to participate in the Apprentice Program. The program has not only
proven to be valuable to the participants but also to our company . We were able to hire two
students on a full time basis over the years and one part time and they have proven to be excellent employees.

Victoria House
Victoria House has been pleased to work with the Apprenticeship Program since it’s inception. Each of the
apprentices that we’ve taken on has been an asset to our operation during their time with us. We’re delighted
to be able to make a contribution towards encouraging young people to become involved in our growing
Hospitality Industry.

El Pescador Resort
El Pescador has participated in the Apprentice Program since its inception. We have consistently found
that the caliber of the apprentices is excellent – they are motivated, willing, and interested in learning.
So much so that we have on each occasion offered our apprentice a full time position here at El Pescador upon
his/her completion of the apprentice program.

A Note From the Mayor:
Through this medium the San Pedro Town Council confirm their full support towards the Apprentice
Program San Pedro Town. The Apprentice Program is geared in helping youths gain hands-on exposure
and basic job training skills that are needed and are essential in today's work field. In order
for an intern to have successfully completed this program they completed 240 hours (12 twenty-hour weeks)
of on the job training in the specific area and 24 hours of general classroom instruction. The apprentice
program is opened to youths between the ages of 15 to 20.
As Mayor of this town we applaud the wonderful efforts that are being done by these volunteers
to steer our youngsters on the right path. The Apprentice Program has proven to be very successful
in their mission and deserve all the support from the community that they can get. Again, we reiterate
our commitment to this program.
